At Eltronic PtX we partner with OEMs to design and fabricate bespoke Balance of Stack systems empowering our customers’ ability to deliver modular solutions at a global scale.
We believe in a partnership model, where our customers provide the core technology, and we focus on the auxiliary process which powers the application. The system integration of the core technology and the auxiliary process system are what constitute a complete Balance of Stack solution. The power supply ensures efficient operation by supplying power for electrochemical reactions within the stack, facilitating electrolysis with the required voltage and current, and optimizing stack performance and efficiency with specified voltage and current levels.
The control system monitors key parameters and analyzes data for real-time adjustments, coordinating subsystems for seamless operation and optimizing stack performance.
The stack (core technology) is within customer scope.
The water treatment system removes impurities and prevents fouling, corrosion, and degradation of the stack, extending its lifespan and improving reliability.
The cooling system maintains optimal temperatures, prevents overheating, ensures stable stack operation, and enhances energy efficiency.
The gas separation system effectively separates gases, ensuring optimal performance and contributing to system safety and reliability by preventing mixing or backflow of gases.
The gas analysis system monitors and controls gas composition, detects deviations for real-time adjustments, and provides valuable data for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and optimization, ensuring system reliability and effectiveness.

We are specialized in Power-to-X and modular Balance of Stack systems. We have been involved in several electrolysis projects and have extensive experience with PEM, Alkaline, AEM and SOEC. Additionally we are also involved in projects utilizing nuclear and molten salt.
Our process begins with receiving detailed technical specifications in a User Requirement Specification (URS) document, ensuring we fully understand your needs and objectives. Together with our customers we then develop an innovative concept tailored to the specifications.
Moving into detailed engineering, we meticulously plan every aspect to guarantee optimal performance. Following this, we handle procurement, sourcing the highest quality components to build your equipment. Our skilled technicians then assembles and tests the system ensure reliability and efficiency.
